Texas is having cold weather and 140 turtles went up onto the beach and were stunned by the cold. If reptiles get to cold they cannot move.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife staff have been gathering them up and caring for them.

That is a lot of turtles, but they are also endangered sea turtles so it is important to look after them. They look pretty big so it must be quite a job to lift them.

It is so good that those people are helping them. I hope this winter isn't too harsh in the US....

I think no one knows what kind of winter to expect. If it is bad there will be many more animals to rescue. I am just remembering all the bats they had to rescue in Ontario.

Good thing they found the turtles in time. There are so few turtles left. We can`t afford to lose even one.
