Sometimes I come across the weirdest, strangest and funniest things on the internet. Actually sometimes people find the oddest things wandering the streets.

You know what? The sheep makes the sweater look good.Smiley4
Good find, Catherine. How do manage to come across so many entertaining items?

On a more mundane note, Tamara used to knit wool coats for any lambs who were born early and were vulnerable. For us it was normal! But we never tried festive Christmas designs, though.
Oh! This is kind of funny....but certainly sweet. I am glad the sheep's people were located eventually.
That Christmas sweater does suit the sheep.

Yes I can imagine a newborn/very young lamb would need something like that if it was outside in winter. Your little lambs were very lucky to get a hand-knitted sweater thanks to Tamara!
I don't want to ram the point home with lots of sheep puns, but he has been re-ewe-nited with his family. There are some pictures here: http://www.wowt.com/home/headlines/Sheep...99621.html

I hope they won't be lamb-busted for letting the sheep run off - although the story says that they think someone chased him out of their yard. They must have wondered, "Wool he or won't he come back by himself?" Or perhaps he ran off looking for sheep thrills, or it was a case of shear determination to see the world. Never mind, he's baaaa-ck home and everything is now sheep shape.

Well, Christmas is coming soon, so a few humorous puns won't go amiss, I hope! He was an attractive young ram and if he had been near me in France I would have taken him in. He would have bleaten the competition for a place in the flock. No point in being sheepish about it.
You win the punster prize of the year. I won't even try to compete.

I am glad to hear that the lost sheep has been reunited with his family.
The Christmas sweaters have become a "thing" in Canada and the USA. People are going out of their way to find ugly Christmas sweaters. I have even heard of Christmas Sweater parties. Finding a sheep in a Christmas sweater was just too funny.

I am sure the little hand knit woolly jumpers for lambs were just the thing to keep them warm. Do you have pictures? I still love the chickens in sweaters. Actually I love pictures of anything in sweaters.
Now that it is winter I see dogs in sweaters everywhere.

Maybe I should make little sweaters for my snakes. I think I can get a sweater on a snake, but how do I keep it on?
Maybe sheep in sweaters makes more sense.
We didn't think to take many photos of the sweaters, as they were just a practical covering to protect vulnerable lambs from the cold. This the only one I can find:
Oh those sheep puns!79 So funny! I don't know how you thought them all up!

What a lovely picture of the lambs and the one in the sweater looks great. The colour suits her (him?)
Why does just one lamb need a coat but the others are okay without one? Was that a lamb who was a bit more delicate than the others?
Yes, the lamb (a male called Andrew) was born prematurely and was very fragile. Glad you like the puns!
The lamb in a sweater is so sweet looking. You picked the right colour for him. I guess you just know when an animal is not keeping warm and a sweater is in order. It was nice that you could have special hand knit sweaters. Animals appreciate things like that.
