In a multi rescue group action, 60 cats were brought to Toronto from Quebec. A number of dogs have been brought to Toronto from other places. This is the biggest cat transfer I have ever heard of.

I suppose you could call the van a catmobile and the whole expedition a catvoy. Whatever you call it, it is a great opportunity for these cats to find homes.

It is wlonderful to know that in the New Year these cats have a chance at a real life in loving homes.Heart
I am so glad to see that such a large number of cats have been saved and presumably are being transported to their foster facilities by the sound of it? It is so hard with an abused animal, as it may never ever have known a loving family or even a decent relationship with humans, so my heart goes out to those who have volunteered to foster. It is a wonderful positive step for these cats (and dogs) towards a normal life.
It is also a great cooperation between rescues. Quebec has a surplus of cats that need homes and the cat rescues on Toronto are able to help. Some of those cats have never had a loving home. Even a good Foster home is better than they have ever known.
Everybody wins.
Such a big number of cats and glad that they are in a better hands now and hoping they well have a family soon to take care of them. Smile
The Shelters and Rescue groups are all starting to work together. They do animal transfers and multi group adoption events. This allows them to use their resources better and the smaller groups get the benefit of the publicity generated by the larger groups. Everyone wins, especially the animals.
