Dedicated people working for D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba slept outside to experience the life of a stray animal and to draw attention to the plight of homeless animals.

Even though it is spring, it is still cold in Winnipeg. You have to admire their dedication and commitment to animals.
It's very heroic to do that to help raise awareness about these poor strays. I can imagine it's no fun sleeping outside in the night in Winnipeg right now.
I hope their venture is very successful.
I think they will have succeeded if they can even get people to think about what it is like for a stray to sleep outside. It would still be pretty cool at night and the average stray wouldn't be wearing a coat and hat and gloves.

Maybe they will inspire people to adopt animals and help at the shelter. Every little bit counts.

Since I grew up in the Winnipeg area I looked the shelter up on the map. It looks like a nice place. I know the area just south of it. That area was not so built up when I was there.
