They are killing stray dogs in Iran by injecting them with acid. It is a slow and horrible death. Don't feel you need to watch the video. I did because I couldn't post it otherwise.

I don't know if it will help, but please do sign the petition.

I don't know what it will take to stop this, but it must be stopped.
This is the first I have heard of this. I will sign and post on other forums.
I have signed and posted on another forum. I will do more when I have time. Meanwhile, I found this, which suggests that the buck is being passed backwards and forwards in this case: http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/original...uelty.html#

It appears that word is out already.....
Everyone must do what they can to get this stopped. There is some horrific and brutal treatment of animals in some underdeveloped and backward countries. I count Iran as being one of those, since hearing this dreadful news.

I have signed but was unable to watch the video. But thank you Catherine, for having the courage to do so, and to post this.

As we are aware, the stray dog issue is caused by humans in the first place. To respond to the results of human carelessness with human brutality is not the answer.
Signed!
Thank-you all for signing.

Believe me, what I saw in the video is very upsetting. It may be the worst thing I have ever seen.

You are right LPC, they are all passing the buck back and forth. However now that it is out there in public, they can't hide it. I am really glad to hear that there were protests in Iran. It means that there is concern for animals in that country. This can be stopped. It will be even better if they can charge the people who did this. They clearly knew that what they were doing was very cruel. There were many dogs in the video who were already dying, very slowly and painfully.
I am also very moved to hear there have been public protests in Iran.

Blessings to the Souls of all the dogs who passed in this terrible way.

I don't think the people of any country are basically cruel by nature. It is just a few people. Once the truth gets, out ordinary people reject the cruelty. I am relieved by the protests. It means that this can be stopped.
It also shows that the videos and petitions that we share are getting the truth out and making a difference.
