It seems the boy with his dog are not unique. Many people fleeing Syria are taking their pets with them.

They are actually carrying their pets when they get tired. You have to love these people. They are animal lovers when it is no longer easy to be an animal lover.
We all know that our animals become just as much a member of our families as the humans are. This really should be taken into consideration in these difficult circumstances. I hope they all manage to stick together.
It sounds like people are refusing to be separated from their pets. I still love the young man who carried his young dog 300 miles, because he loves her.Heart

True animal lovers will do anything to save their pets. As you say, they are members of our families and you don't walk away and leave a family member to fend for themselves.

That is so good that they are caring for their family members (pets). I always like these kind of stories.
I think it is a sign of how beautiful people can be. In a terrible situation they are rescuing their pets.

It isn't easy and the future is so uncertain for them, but the pets trust them and are happy to go with them.

These people have a lot to teach the rest of the world about what really matters.
