I don't know now if I will do a history. It was just an idea I had the other night. There is so much information out there on him already. I guess I was thinking of doing a history of his song lyrics that he wrote and what contribution he made to the world.

I'm glad you liked the Best of Bowie. I listening to it 3 times the other night and the last time I put my headphones on so not to bother my neighbors as it was late.

It was important to DB to make fresh new music sounds that were part of his personality and doing that he went through many things.
It would be interesting to do a study of the growth and changes in his music compared to the changes in society and the different circumstances of David Bowie's life at the time he produced the music.

You certainly have an appreciation for what he did with his life and music.
Yes, I do have an appreciation for him and his music and his styles. I guess he was quite the entertainer. I saw him in concert in the 70s twice and they were the best concerts I had ever been to.
Live concerts are always the best experience. You never forget them because they are more than listening to sound. All your senses are involved.

I am glad you got to see him.
I'm glad too. It was an experience of a lifetime. He was fantastic and had all kinds of props and different outfits and such.
I had a chance to see the Rolling Stones and I didn't take it. What was I thinking of?

Never pass up a chance to see a good performance.
I don't know!!
I wouldn't pass it up now. At least I learned from my mistake.

I did get to see Canadian folk singer Gordon Lightfoot. That was worth it. He plays his own guitar when he sings. He has a twelve string and the sound is amazing.
I got to see the Moody Blues in 1987. I don't even know if they are still together. The sound and the experience was amazing.

I got to see Monty Pythons Flying Circus in 1973. The show was funny, but seeing it in a theatre is a whole different level of experience.

I hope we all get to see the concerts that we want to see.
I just came across a list of ten things that David Bowie turned down.  I thought you might find it interesting.

He wasn't one to follow the crowd was he. He turned down James Bond and Dr. Who. That is impressive, impressive that he was offered both and that he said no.
