A Great Horned Owl got into a sewage treatment plant and got herself into a real mess.
Fortunately workers inspecting the plant spotted her in time and called Toronto Wildlife.
She was rescued, bathed and fed and as soon as they were sure she was fine, she was returned to her area so she could carry on with her life.

All in a days work for Toronto Wildlife. Every year they rescue countless animals from strange spots. Fortunately there is usually a happy ending. Heart
I am so glad the owl was spotted in time to be rescued without too much trauma. And that she could be released back where she belonged.
Well done to Toronto Wildlife. long may your good work continue.
Oh poor Owl! Falling in the you-know-what! That must have been so distressing and traumatising for her. I am so glad she was rescued and cleaned up. Good job, Toronto Wildlife. Thank goodness someone noticed her!
They rescue a lot of birds. Geese and swans  get their feet frozen to the ice each winter. Little animals end up on the highways and have to be rescued. The odd deer finds itself in the down town area and needs a rescue before it gets hurt.

Three cheers for Toronto Wildlife.
