This is very sad.
There is no need for so many dogs to die like that. Shelters need to ways to be no kill shelters. There are homes and every dog is wanted by someone somewhere. More effort has to be made to move dogs to places where they are wanted.
The dogs all look so hopeful and pleading. They really trust us to make it right. That makes the last walk a betrayal of that trust.
