I was there and I have to wonder.  I was cat sitting and I was just leaving the house and the cat made a big deal about wanting me to follow her upstairs.  Then she ran down the hall to the back of the house. Once I was there she went into the sun room. So I followed her.

Inside was a huge bumble bee trapped and trying to get out the window.  It could never have escaped and there was no food or water for it.  So I carefully caught it and put it outside in the garden where there are flowers and water. After a moment the bee took off just fine.

When I went back up to the sun room, the cat was watching the garden out the window and was peaceful.

Maybe she just wanted me to get the bee out of her window and maybe she was watching out the window because she wanted to look out.
Or maybe she wanted to save the bee and was watching to make sure he was alright.

Either way she saved the bees life.
What a lovely story with a happy ending.
Awww! What a good thing to happen! Yes she wanted you to know....why? Who can know what a cat is thinking? LOL I am sure a trapped/scared creature puts out an 'alarm' signal, and other creatures may be able to interpret that.
The bee would be so happy to be freed, and back to the garden. Heart
There are lots of spring flowers in our gardens so the bumble bee will be fine.  My flowering shrubs are just starting to bloom. It is a good time for a bumble bee.  I made sure I released her in the back where the flowers are.
I have no idea how the bee got into the house.

No doubt you are right, the bee would have been giving off distress signals. The cat was probably responding to that. She is a gentle cat so she may have wanted to help. She certainly did help.  We will never know what the cat was thinking, but she was very determined to get me to help.
