This is a wonderful story about a rescue dog that lives at the Cincinnati Zoo. Blakely is an Austrailian Shepherd who serves as a nurse/nanny  to orphaned zoo animals. He helps the keepers raise the babies so that they know how to act around other animals.

You have to admire a dog that will care for such a wide range of animals.  He is a special dog, with a special job.
Yes, he is special to have such empathy for other animals.
What a wonderful dog. He is doing a great job, bless him.

Interactions, and love and kindness between different species is one of my special interests.
Interesting that he is a stray from an animal shelter.

Who ever dropped him off did not know what a wonderful dog they had.  The Zoo sure figured it out.
He is a very clever and caring dog.
