"Animal Aid Unlimited India"
The help they give to street dogs, and to all animals in need of medical help, rescue, or care, is just amazing. I think their videos do reach many people in other countries, and I am sure they receive good donations in recognition of what they do, with love and practical skills, to help animals. But among the many animal charities I find their work so moving.

This is their website:

and this is just one of their many rescue videos:

Nice to see work being done in India.
I have heard of them. They are doing amazing work. If I end up watching rescue videos some of theirs always come up on the list.
Of course I couldn't watch just one this time.

I think they are doing amazing things in India. All the dogs they rescue end up looking so happy.

How do dogs do that. They are totally abandoned and abused and with a little love and care they bounce back and are happy and full of love again. We could learn from dogs.
Yes dogs have a lovely way of doing things! I saw another couple of videos of dogs rescued on the brink of death, and they were still wagging their tails in greeting to the people who came to rescue them. Then as soon as they felt better, they were up and about. I love the way dogs do things.

Some of those Indian dogs aren't literally 'abused' dogs. They are just street dogs and there are so many there. Never were anybody's pets I don't think... What has happened is they often get injuries then because they are alone, the wounds fester, get fly-blown, necrotic, etc and they can end up dying. Thank goodness for the people who called Animal Aid to come along to help them!

Sometimes they keep the dogs there, and sometimes when they are better/spayed/neutered/vaccinated they are returned to the place they were found. Sometimes a whole community will feed the street dogs and keep an eye out for them there, but they are not anyone's sole pet.
The one thing I like about those dogs is their easy socialisation with other dogs and people.
I noticed how well the dogs got along with each other. They all seem to love people as well

They are like our street cats here. They get looked after and vaccinated and neutered and everything and then they live out their lives in their street  location.
The difference is that the street cats would never accept a home and I think the dogs would be happy to be with a family.

It is wonderful how many dogs they help. In time the street dog problem could improve. If they vaccinate and neuter enough dogs the numbers should decrease.
