A Florida man was driving along on the highway when a snake crawled out from under the hood of his car. He was able to pull over safely and the snake eventually slithered away.

I thought it might be a king snake and the driver thought it might be a Racer. It seems it was an indigo snake. It was 6ft long and totally harmless.
I have one question. Why don't these cool things happen to me!

An "Indigo Snake"...wow....I had never heard of them before. I suppose the snake went inside the car to find a warm place? It is lucky not to have been mangled. Silly cats do that also sometimes.
You are the perfect person to discover a snake on a plane....or on a bus....or meandering down the street! Everyone would think you are such a hero! When you would be doing what you like best.

I would just calmly pick it up. It really wasn't that big a snake. Snakes do like to find comfy places to hide. They can also crawl through a very tiny hole because most snakes are very thin.
I have never seen an indigo snake either.
I am sure one day some cool animal incident will happen to me. I am ready and waiting. Snakes on a plane would have been so much fun. All the snakes used in the movie were harmless and they just needed to be picked up. I consider the movie to be a comedy. You have a whole plane full of people running around afraid of tiny corn snakes and stuff like that. They could have just turned the temperature down and then the snakes would have become dormant.
I would love to find any kind of snake in my back garden. It could live there under the deck and I would be happy to see it.
So bring on snakes on anything. I am ready and waiting!
