Hunters in Montana are elated because they think they have killed the biggest Elk ever recorded(as being killed).

This might seem like an odd thing for me to post, but let us take a moment to remember this magnificent animal who live proudly and free for so many years before he was  murdered.

These people are very sad people indeed. Their claim to fame is that they ended a beautiful animal's life.

Wouldn't you rather be remembered for saving an animals life. It is easier to destroy than to build. It took minutes to end what nature took year to grow. I would be embarrassed to know these people and I would be embarrassed for them.

It is a sad, sad day for the Elk world. It has lost a father, a grandfather and very likely a great grandfather.
RIP world record Elk. The world is poorer for your untimely passing.

I don't know how people can live with themselves and be that way. Disgusting..

I cried when I saw the picture of the Elk. He was so beautiful and all the hunters are congratulating themselves for ending his life.

He was a much better creature than those hunters. He lived his life at peace with the world. They live their lives full of brutality and destruction. The world has been a better place for the Elk having lived in it. I can't say that about the hunters.

Hunters are psychopaths in my opinion.  Yes the Elk was a much better animal than the hunters!  So many animals are peaceful, loving and loyal.

Yes it has. And his Spirit lives on, but sadly, not on this Earth any more. Hopefully his sorrowful ending here will inspire many hearts.

I am hoping people will read about the hunters congratulating themselves over taking so beautiful a life and somehow it will not feel right.   When they are saying how great that we destroyed something it should cross people's minds that they shouldn't have destroyed anything. The world doesn't need more destruction.

I hope the Spirit of the Great Elk stays with us. We need him now more than ever.

I just hope someday people will stop needing to kill things to prove themselves.
