Reptiles are so vulnerable to smoke inhalation.  Scott was a true hero who disregarded his own safety in an effort to save the reptiles. Sadly no one survived the fire, but Scott's example of bravery and concern for his animals will live on as a shining example. In a world where so many people hurt animals, one man died trying to save them. Well done Scott your heart was in the right place.

I hope they are able to continue his work.

Reptiles are very vulnerable often misunderstood pets. Few shelters have any idea how to care for them.
It's a sad outcome.
But Scott put his life on the line to help those creatures. Bless his Soul for acting from his Heart, even if it was the last thing he ever did in this world. Bless all the ones who passed Heart
Being a reptile person I can understand his desperate effort to save his reptiles. They are so vulnerable and so often not treated well. Scott sent the world the strong message that reptiles are worth risking your life for. They do deserve our best care.

What he did was a great thing. He was unable to save them, but his reptiles didn't die alone.
