Many celebrities are active supporters of animal rights and work to protect animals. I found an article that lists many of them and the causes they are involved it.

It is a powerful list of people. I am impressed by the work they do. There is at least one person in there that I do not like. I will have to concede that this person is good to animals and that is worth something. Maybe IU will have to adjust my opinion.
These people have the public eye and can carry the message to more people. Some of them can run their own foundations.
A lot of animals benefit from what they do. I think it is important that we acknowledge the good that they do. As an animal lover I want to say thank-you to the people who are able to do so much for animals.
