Yes you read the tittle right. With fitness trackers for people all the rage, they are now making them for pets.
People who are concerned about their pets health and fitness can feed very special foods and track their pets activity levels using an app on their phones.
I suppose we should have seen this coming. What I didn't expect was the location, Hong Kong. It seems that attitudes towards pets are changing a lot in China. People are willing to pay a lot of money to track their pets fitness.

I am sure this technology is going to spread around the globe.
I can't believe anyone would spend that much for a fitness tracker, animal or human. I think being active and eating well is probably the best way to be fit. I just know I am going to start seeing people out walking their dogs and they are both going to be wearing fitness trackers.
What is next? Gym memberships for dogs?
