Thieves broke into an enclosure in the backyard of a wildlife rescuer's home and stole three young Koala Joeys.
This is terrible because they are unlikely to survive without the special care they were receiving.
A massive appeal has been made to the thieves to return the koalas before it is too late.

I feel for the wildlife rescuer. It would be heartbreaking to have an animal stolen from your care, knowing how dangerous it is for the animal. It is three times worse because three of them were stolen. I hope the thieves have enough sense to do the right thing and return them before it is too late.

This has been all over our news two of the joeys are on medication,koalas have highly specialised diets the minder said she hasn't been able to sleep since it happened.

What an awful selfish thing to do. Especially when those joeys have special medical needs. And the mother is grieving for them. I really hope the thieves are caught, and the joeys returned.
People who do this kind of thing either have no imagination, or don't cae for the sake of making some money.

I wonder if they took them to sell them. It is so horrible what people will do. There is a good chance they won't survive with out their meds and special diets.

The minder must be so distressed. No wonder she can't sleep. I hope someone out there who knows something will turn the thieves in for the sake of the koalas. No one anywhere wants to see koalas hurt.
