I am missing Danny yet. The place isn't the same now.

I hear you. Danny was so special and so much a part of every day that it changes everything to have him gone. 
It is so hard that our little friends don't live as long as we do, but that is part of why they are so precious to us.
You will always miss him, but hopefully the pets you still have will find ways to fill the space with new memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a beloved pet. It's hard at first. I wish you and Allison the best.
