The Humane Society that I volunteer at had its open house yesterday.
It was great. The weather was perfect. There were lots of people.
There were lots of activities. People adopted animals.

As you can see they had quite a program. I didn't win the raffle however. I am sure the winners are very happy with their prizes.
It is good that there is so much support for an animal shelter that does so much. It is more than a shelter. There is also a spay/neuter clinic. They send vets up north to give vet care to dogs in remote northern communities. The shelter brings in dogs from shelters that are over crowded. It does so much more. I am proud of our shelter. They do so much to make the lives of animals as happy as possible while they are staying at the shelter. There is a great team of volunteers who come in regularly to give the animals love and attention.
