This is the week for us to be aware of the impact we have on the oceans. What we put into our rivers ends up in our oceans. The big problem now is plastics. This week gives us a chance to reflect on our plastic use and find ways to reduce it.
The Canadian Wildlife Federation sponsors this week and has suggestions for how to reduce our plastic use.

It is important that we take water seriously. All life on this planet is dependent on water. If we value our beautiful ocean dwellers we must work to protect their habitat. This is something we all need to do. It is the work of a life time even though we only celebrate one week a year. Protecting our oceans is something we can all do. So take time this week to reflect on the importance of water and find one thing you can do to help.
