There has been an increase in the number of pets poisoned by E cigarettes. As the E cigarettes become more popular so will the incidents of poisoning.
There are a lot of things we regularly use that are toxic to our pets. We need to be careful with these products to protect our pets. There is no need for a pet to die of poisoning from something it ate in its own home, especially since we know what the dangers are.

I think the advice to "baby proof" your home pet style is very good. We often have dangerous products lying around. It is better to be safe than sorry. I few moments of  taking precautions can save your pet from serious illness or even death.
I am not surprise dthat e-cigarettes poison animals! That should be obvious and they shold never be left where any animal might chew at the cartridges....exactly as if anyone has an animal who likes to chew at things, then NOTHING toxic should be left where they can get at it! It's easy to put things like this into a box or up on a shelf.
It is a good practice not to leave out anything toxic anyhow. If it is dangerous, put it in a safe place. It is just a good habit to have. Then if a child or pet is in your home you don't need to worry and there is no fear of an accident.

It is pretty obvious that E-cigarettes would be dangerous. The chemicals in them are toxic and I understand the batteries can be dangerous.
