Smiley19 Heart Smiley19 Heart  Smiley19  Back in 1995 I believe it was or around there I had a sweet little hamster named Gladice Joy.  I chose her becuase she had been beaten up by many of the other hamsters and had a big gash on her that was healing but bloody looking.   I took little Gladice home and gave her a nice 20 gallon aqarium where she had fun and romped and had a wheel.  I tried to give her all the love I could.  I felt I saved her from the ones who wanted to kill her.  She got an infection and was on meds. until she passed.  I loved little Gladice Joy so much.  She took a piece of my heart.
It's so sad for us when they have to leave...

Blessings to little Gladice Joy. She has known what it is like to be loved and cared for. She won't forget that -or you Heart
You gave Gladice Joy a beautiful, safe life and I am sure she was happy with you.  Hamsters have such short lives, but they live them so fully. When they leave us,  in spite of their tiny size they leave big empty places in our hearts. Even though you miss her, she gave you happy memories and you know you saved her life. That makes the bond you had with her very special.

I still miss my little hamsters so I know how you feel.
You can only do you best I'm sure in her own way she appreciated what you did for her that's all we can do.
I think our pets really do appreciate what we do for them. We give them happy lives and lots of love. What more could anyone want? We just can't give them more time. They are like the little crocuses that bloom so briefly and yet we still love them.
You gave Gladice Joy a beautiful life, and for sure she was happy for you to have you in her life.
Having had a few hamsters and being all too familiar with their short life span it's surprising how in the short span of time they really leave their mark.
Thank you all.
We have all loved little hamsters and know how brief their lives are.  For a tiny animal they cast a long shadow.
