I think we should all be happy to celebrate International Sloth Day. They are such wonderfully unique creatures. They live very slow moving lives up in the trees.

I keeping with the day, I put aside all my busy plans and gave myself a slow day filled with naps and good food. How did you celebrate the day?

Aww! Sloths are really nice. They have very sweet faces. There is too much speed in the world nowadays, so it's good that something goes more slowly!  

I woke up at seven but celebrated "Sloth Day" by going back to sleep until 10.20!  
(Actually I didn't know it was Sloth Day at the time but I did it anyway.)

You see, we just instinctively knew how to celebrate International Sloth Day. Maybe we need to take Sloths more seriously. They live life at a different pace than the rest of us. Maybe they know something the rest of us need to learn. It is okay to live life at a more gentle pace.

They are so cute and the babies look like fuzzy sock monkeys. They look like they are smiling. The world could use more smiles too.
