Every year when there is an abundance of pumpkins, zoos give them to various animals. The results are usually pretty funny.

I still love the polar bears with the pumpkins. They play with them until they break and then they eat them.
The hippos don't mess around. They just open wide and eat the pumpkin. They are clearly all having fun.
It seems that everyone got pumpkins everywhere this year.

Even the snake had a pumpkin.
For some it's time to get munching. For others it's a place to explore, or even to live. A Pumpkin is a very interesting thing! Smiley4  It's a good idea anyway to live in a house you can eventually eat if the interest rates go too high....

Oh dear, there is not an edible part to my home anywhere.

Every year the zoos give the animals pumpkins and every year they really enjoy them. I wonder if they look forward to
"pumpkin day" and think of it as a special zoo celebration. Some of the bigger animals would know the day is coming.
Who knows what they know. They certainly put a lot into enjoying the pumpkins.
