We know the oceans are full of plastic. We are aware of the damage that is being done by plastic.
There are things being done to clean it up. I watched a video about a method that has been created to actually remove plastic from the ocean.

It is an ambitious project and it may not be able to clean everything everywhere. However if it can clean up some areas it will make a tremendous difference.
This is hope for out planet.
The really good news is that they are ready to deploy the cleanup machines now.
The sooner we start the sooner it will be done.
