Someone has compiled a list of popular pet names for 2017. The list may be for their area, but I bet it matches a lot of other areas.

I can tell you right now that I have a beautiful corn snake called Bella. It seemed like the right thing to call her.
I also have a Molly and an Oscar. I liked the sound of them. It is funny how names become popular. I must have heard someone else use the name.
