I am not sure I understand how this helps, but it is interesting what people will do to help bees. An artist in Australia is using a 3D printer to create robotic flowers for bees to pollinate.

It seems like an extreme way to feed bees, but there may come a time when we need it. It is better that we perfect the technology now while we still have natural choices for bees. It would allow us to feed bees during times when flowers are not available.
The important thing is the bees and doing anything possible to keep them alive.
