A little male Hedgehog was tied to a tree with shoe laces and left there with his belly exosed. He was badly hurt and it is not clear how long he was there. The RSPCA rescued the animal and it was under care. Sadly he did not survive.

The search is on for whoever did this. The little animal would have suffered and been so frightened. I really hope they find who did this.
Why do people abuse Hedgehogs. They are such a harmless almost helpless animal. Their response to danger is to curl up into a ball. That is protection against most dangers, but not against humans. What kind of human feels the need to hurt a little animal that is so scared it has curled up into a ball. Clearly as a species we need some work.
