After the Fukushima nuclear disaster, animals were abandoned in the radioactive zones. Most of them died.
But Masami Yoshizawa refused to leave his cows, and although it is illegal to live in the radioactive areas, he stays there for their sake, although it puts his own life in danger.
His story is interesting, and shows this man's level of compassion. Bless him.

What a courageous, remarkable man. He is an example of all that is good about us. He takes his responsibility towards his animals to the absolute limit, he risks his own life for them. I also notice he has taken in other abandoned cattle.
After disasters animals get left behind. Even though it is not safe he has gone back to look after them. He is a true hero. I hope somewhere he will be given recognition for what he is doing.

He is right. It would hide the consequences of the disaster if all the contaminated animals could be disposed of. Keeping the herd alive is keeping the truth alive.
What a brave and compassionate man.
Yes he is.
I am glad his story has been recorded as there are many unsung heroes in this world. And he is one of them.
I hope there is follow up so we can hear the rest of his story.
The world is full of unsung heroes. I wish we could hear about more of them. At least with the internet we hear some of their stories.
