I am stunned to think that anyone would be so callus and cruel. The animal is still alive and they are laughing at its distress. I do not like the whole hunting mentality, but even for hunters this is pretty low behavior.

I do hope they are fined to the full extent of the law.
They should be banned for life from hunting as well.
If I knew who they were I would turn them in.

Maybe hunting should be banned.
I would have thought that it should be possible to track down these criminals. Whoever posted the video had to registered first - requiring an e-mail address and the IP address will have been recorded. This does not define down to an individual address but gives the locality and local enquiries could start from there. The e-mail address could also be monitored, if the police so wished, as part of a criminal investigation. These people should be caught, or they may well do the same or worse again.
Ought to be locked up. Unforgivable cruelty.
I think it would be great if the police would do as LPC suggests, This is criminal.

I do think there should be a ban on hunting for sport. But there would probably be loopholes.
I have yet to see any thing a hunter does that qualifies as sport. People who hunt for food out of necessity do not post videos or do things like that.
They must have tracked them somehow because the article is asking people to identify them. That would only work if it was in their area.

I doubt the law has the power to do to them what they deserve. We can only hope that the court of public opinion has some effect. Would you hire one of those guys. Would you let your daughter date one of them. I really hope that there are consequences for what they did.

I don't even know if it is an animal cruelty violation or some kind of game law violation.
