The Woolly Mammoth is closely related to modern elephants. It is known from many different ways, numerous cave paintings from our human ancestors, frozen carcasses with skeletons, stomach contents, tusks and even liquid blood still intact. It is well known than any other prehistoric animal.

Great artwork, Sameer! Thanks for posting this. Putting a person in each picture gives a very clear idea of just how massive the dinosaurs were.
This is splendid art work, Sameer! Thank you.

You have illustrated beautifully how huge those creatures were.
I would not like to be a quick snack for any of them!   Smiley4
Beautiful pictures! I do love the mammoth. I still hope they can clone them. Of course I still want to see a dinosaur clone.

Spinosaurus is the first known semi-aquatic dinosaur and it was among the the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. It has long arms with huge claws and unlike most other theropods, spinosaurus possessed a long, narrow, crocodile-like snout with conical non-serrated sharp teeth that were suitable to catch fish. Spinosaurus measured about 15–16 m (49–52 ft) and weighed about 6 - 8 tonnes or more.

Fossils have been found in Egypt and Morocco.

In body size, the Irish Elk tied with the extant Alaskan Moose as the third largest known deer.

Fossils have been found in Europe and Asia (Austria, Britain, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Siberia ) and Africa.
The Parasaurolophus has a very unusual head. Interesting.
Thank you so much Sameer. These are fascinating. I didn't know about all those different Dinosaurs and extinct species.
I like the Irish Elk. Wow! That is a big Deer!
I always liked Spinosaurus. It is an unusual dinosaur. They are all special in their own way, but I like the unique look.

Titanoboa is impressive. I think I will pass on wanting one as a pet.

Thanks. The Irish Elk is big but this will surprise you that it is the third largest known deer. There are 2 other extinct cervids (stag-moose and broad-fronted moose) which are bigger than the Irish Elk. The broad-fronted moose weighed as much as the modern American bison. Smiley13 The Irish Elk holds the record of having the largest antlers. Seeing any of these cervids up close will be quite a sight.
It would be so amazing to be able to go back in time and really see these creatures (at a distance of course!)

Some of them have quite friendly smiley faces....like Ankylosaurus. But if he wagged his tail, we'd be in for it!

Styracosaurus is licking his lips about how tasty that man is going to be!
