Actually cats are as much help as anyone else when it comes to putting furniture together. They certainly know how to make use of it when it is done.

What a nice cat. That cat looks smart enough to understand Swedish instructions!

Now....whether that cat will bother to put the furniture together is another question. Nope! Why keep a human and build Ikea furniture yourself? Life's too short.

So that is why cats keep humans around. I always thought it was because we can use a can opener.  It seems we are more useful than I thought.

That is a funny cat. It does seem to be looking over the project like it knows what to do.  If cats have figured out the instructions I wish they would tell the rest of us.
