I knew some of these facts and some I didn't.
I knew about binkys, but I didn't know that rabbits can see behind themselves, but have a blind spot in front of their faces. I shall have to remember that when I am feeding a rabbit. I also didn't know that rabbits can't vomit. I wonder why?

Rabbits are a gentle pet, but it is good to understand them. They are very sensitive animals and a bit delicate in some ways.
Knowing more about them helps.

The article is worth it for the pictures. They really are cute.
The first time i saw my old bunny eat his own poop, i thought he had gone insane or something, had to Google it and see if he was sick or something Big Grin

Perfectly reasonable explanation thou, getting the last of the nutritients out of them. Not so cute to look at thou ;p
I am used to the poop eating thing because guinea pigs do it all the time. They really need to do it. I think the term is coprophagic. It is always fun to know a really weird large word that there are few ways to use.

I love the word binky. It is just too cute to see a bunny do that. There is a certain cuteness to rabbits and a certain gentleness that makes them special.
"Coprophagia or coprophagy is the consumption of feces", haha, indeed a fun word.

Binky and Bunny are both supercute words, combine them to binkybunny for cuteness overdose (O_o)
Binky is the perfect word for what bunnies do.  Everything about bunnies is cute.

A similar action in guinea pigs is called popcorning. It is a different kind of cute.
Popcorning? What do they do then?
Popcorning is very random jumping in the air. Young guinea pigs do it all the time. When they get too heavy they just can't get off the ground anymore. I found a YouTube video with good examples of popcorning.

They sometimes end up facing in the opposite direction and they always seem surprized when it happens.

I found an example of bunnies that binky.

It looks like it is the same type of action.
Any ideas why they do it?
Haha, that was cute. Very similar as rabbits binkies, so maybe the reason is the same? They are worry-free and happy :]
