Inspired by the sleeping cat video recently posted, here's a few shots of Ethel. I can't see how she's comfy, but it is her preferred sleeping position when she's on a lap.

And something a little more conventional.

Aaawww how adorable is she? Funny how they get into these strange and weird positions.
Lady of the Manor! She's certainly landed on her paws with you, dear Cibach!
cute! I remember seeing that first picture on the old forum. It used to make me laugh all the time.
I love Ethel. She finds the oddest ways to sleep. She must be comfortable or she would move, but still how does she fold herself like that. The look on her face is so endearing. Heart
How old is Ethel now? She looks good, but you have had her years haven't you.
Ethel will be 5 on the 5th of April.
She, and her half sister Annie (birthday 3rd of April), were born at the Glynneath Guinea pig rescue. They share a father but have different Mums.
Both Mums were red but Dad was Agouti. Annie is Red and Ethel is Agouti.
They have been with us since they were 5 weeks old.

Here's a photo of the group back then showing how little they were!! Both girls are now much bigger than Latte, although she is still the boss. Latte is nearly six and starting to show her age, but is still perky and a lover of salad!!

I've just realised that it is one year today since we lost dear Cappuccino, the cream and white girl in the photo.
We usually have a load of daffodils in our garden at this time of year, but this year we have had only one, the one over Cappy in the flower bed.
I don't know why the others haven't flowered yet, maybe they will later.
I was thinking that you lost Cappuccino this past year. I has been a little over a year since Jonathan died. Time just races.

Annie and Ethel are the same age as Lambert. I guess we got them at the same time. Your girls were such sweet babies. They have doubled in size haven't they. Who says that salad is slimming. You wouldn't know it from guinea pigs.Smiley4

I remember you getting Latte and the other girls and you remember Pigbert. One lone daffodil to remind you of Cappy. The other flowers can come up later if they want.

What would life be like without guinea pigs? It certainly wouldn't be as much fun.Smiley4
