I found a Monarch Migration web site. It tracks the Monarch journey and gives reports of the progress.
I saw a Monarch on May 27 along the Don River(Toronto's eastern river). That means they have made it this far north.

I think the monarch migration captures our attention because it is so big and because we have worked so hard to help them survive. We have planted thousands of Milkweed plants because they are the only plant that Monarchs can lay their eggs on. We have all planted flowers that the Monarch adults can feed on. It is a project that people feel strongly about.
I am glad to welcome the monarchs back. I just hope it warms up enough for them to do well up here. They need to spend the summer preparing for migration back. They are an incredible creature.
