Now....let's remember kinder options whenever we can -to slug pellets in gardens. (slug pellets are dangerous to wildlife anyway, apart from devastating slugs and snails.) Slug deterrents like ashes and tiny rough stones are a better option. Snails will walk in the opposite direction!

I have snails and slugs in my garden. I try to plant so much stuff that I can afford to let the molluscs munch a little. They don't do as much damage as we think they do.
I must go outside with my camera some day and see what I can get pictures of. Isn't the world a wonderful place full of fascinating and unique creatures. There is always something marvelous to see.
