The city of Toronto is so quiet right now that wildlife has moved in. In particular a fox has set up a den under a board walk along the lake shore on the east side of town. They are doing really well and people have enjoyed seeing them.

Now people are interfering and feeding them.  There was a nasty confrontation between two people when a woman walking a dog refused to take the dog away even though it was clearly upsetting the mother fox.

The city has now put up fencing and provided privacy and protection for the foxes.

It is too bad that people didn't behave better. Hopefully the fencing will be enough to protect the foxes until the kits are old enough to move.
