Rabbits are great pets. They are gentle and sensitive and loving. However you should understand what it takes to keep a rabbit. There should be no surprises, except for discovering how sweet your bunny really is. Rabbits are good pets if you are prepared to look after them properly. It is not that it is so much work to care for a rabbit, but it is some work every day. If you can't commit to that level of care then a rabbit is not the best pet choice.
If you are prepared to look after a rabbit properly then you have many wonderful years ahead of you.
