There may not have been a lot of visitors to the zoo, but the zoo has been a busy place. For the first time in 24 years they have two new born red panda cubs. They are still pretty tiny, but the web cam shows mom looking after them and they are confident that the cubs will survive..

They are so cute and incredibly tiny. It is hard to believe they will on day be big furry red pandas. Red Pandas are endangered in the wild so it is good that there is a healthy zoo population. I look forward to seeing them when the zoo is fully open and the babies are on display to the public.
