The Toronto Zoo has just lost one of its oldest original residents, Josephine the Gorilla.  She was 49 years old and that is a good age for a gorilla. She was much loved by us all.  She was a real character. Her gorilla troupe will miss her greatly as will we all.

I didn't get to see Josephine again because of covid and I can't go out to the zoo right now and pay my respects to her and her family.
I will miss seeing her when next I can visit.

She was a good old girl and she was a good mom. She lived a good life  and she leaves behind a number of adult children and an even bigger number of grandchildren.
