Saturday was National Love Your Pet day. Since we love our pets every day, I figure it is okay to celebrate a day late.
Admittedly it is an American National Day, but I think it is important enough for the rest of us to borrow it. Maybe with a little effort we can turn this into a global celebration.
Our pets love us and we love them so it is important that we take a day to recognize this love.

This is a touching article about what our pets do for us, in particular what our bunny pets do for us.

Boo, my bunny, was there for me when I needed him. I just wish there had been more time for me to give back to him.
We should treat every day as national pet day. They are worth it.
