A guy just moved into a BC neighbourhood. He could hear a neighbours dog barking. It went on for days. He did some looking for the dog, but couldn't see it. He finally realized the sound was coming from under his deck. When he lifted some deck boards he found a well with a dog in it. He had to remove more of the deck, but he got the dog out. She turned out to be a 10 year old Cairn Terrier. Her worried owners were overjoyed to get her back.

If he hadn't kept looking the dog would have died and no one would have known what happened to her. He just couldn't ignore the barking that wouldn't stop.
Callie is a lucky dog. She got herself in a bad spot, but the right person found her, rescued her and got her safely back home. Hopefully she stays home after this.
