There has been a shocking dog theft in Los Angeles. A dog walker was out at 10pm walking Lady Gaga's three French Bulldogs. He was approached by someone who shot him and grabbed two of the dogs. The dog walker is expected to recover. Lady Gaga is now offering $500,000.00 for the return of the dogs, no questions asked.

Dog thefts are becoming more common. Now it seems they are becoming more dangerous. A dog walker got shot! Unbelievable.
It is not clear that the thief knew whose dogs they were. It is clear that he intended to shoot. He had a gun.
People are going to need to change their dog walking habits. Dog walkers might need to walk in groups. One lone dog walker is too vulnerable. Multiple people walking dogs might be safer.
The people who buy dogs need to take some precautions to be sure they are not buying stolen dogs. As long as people are willing to spend the money, thieves will be willing to take the dogs.
I don't know if the large reward will work. I know Lady Gaga wants her dogs back. I wish her luck.
