With the extreme cold and power failures shelters in Texas are desperate. Canadian rescue group Redemption Paws has mobilized to bring 50 dogs to Toronto.
All the rescuers must now undergo a 14 day quarantine. The dogs will be available soon.

Redemption Paws regularly brings Texas dogs to Toronto. This time the need was urgent. Shelters didn't have heat and water is scarce. It has been very cold.
Quickly bringing dogs from the shelters to safety in Canada was a good idea. There are few adoptable dog here. The fifty Texas dogs will have their forever homes very quickly. It is good that rescue groups are considered essential services and therefore still able to carry out their work.
