A ne report from Rover.com found that people who adopted a pet going into the pandemic now are feeling happier.
Some people adopted cats, some adopted dogs and some adopted both. The majority of these people felt better for having a pet around. The pet was a companion and an emotional support.

In many ways we already knew this. Our pets make us feel better. Right now with the stresses we are experiencing and in many cases, the isolation, our pets help alleviate that. You are never alone or isolated when you have a pet. They are an endless source of entertainment.  People who choose to get pets were wise. They
are benefiting now.
