The use of reptile skins is perhaps the most brutal use of animals we have ever devised. Reptiles are usually skinned alive. Because of their slow metabolisms it can take days for them to die. Mammals bleed out pretty quickly. A snake head remains alive and gasping long after decapitation. A snake body is alive and feeling pain days after being skinned. Lizards and crocodiles are treated no better and suffer as much.

We must fight against the use of reptiles in fashion and anything else. This horrible cruelty must stop.

I don't believe in any animal skin or fur being used.

I feel sick every time I hear about this. No animal skin is obtained without some cruelty. There are non animal alternatives for everything. We have to choose to use them.
