The town of Lytton BC became famous for breaking Canadian heat records and then for being totally destroyed by a wildfire. Now at least there is a happy reason to mention Lytton. A lot of pets have been rescued and are in care until their owners can take them back. People who thought they had lost everything are overjoyed to find that their pets survived.

You can always rebuild your house. You can replace possessions. Finding your pets still alive, that is priceless.
I don't know if everyone's pets survived, but it looks like many did. I hope people can be back living with their pets soon and put this horrible time behind them.
