It is always nice to see good news and this is good news. Hawksbill Turtles have hatched on the beaches of Singapore.
There were about 100 of them and they had help from the locals to make it to the sea.

It is wonderful to see so many little turtles all hatching at once.
I just love the way they scramble out of the nest and keep going. Once they start hatching, they all leave the nest. They all crawl like mad to get to the water.
With a little help from their human friends, many of them will make it. I never get tired of seeing baby turtles hatch. I hope this year's hatchlings do well.
