Yes, I had a lovely birthday. I was invited to a friend's house with three other friends of hers, and I went. It was a scrumptious dinner and I ate a lot! Dogs were invited.  I like anything which involves dogs.
One dog slept through the Rolling Stones, and even some eerie sounds when the digital music-player-thingy threw a hissy-fit!! Tough dog!

They were really nice people too. I am glad I went.

My friend, who used to be an art dealer, gave me a small sculpture of a "spirit animal", created by an African artist; Bernard Manyandure. It looks like a dog to me, but could possibly be a bear. It is a charming and beautiful little sculpture. I had interesting dreams about Misty after receiving that.

I need a name for the creature. 
It has a very friendly loving feeling with it. Bernard Manyandure is well known among black artists for his animal sculptures.

So it was an unusual and interesting birthday!

I also had another very excellent present a couple of weeks ago

Anything that involves dogs is an occasion.

The sculpture sounds intriguing. Yes, it definitely needs a name. Interesting that you dreamt about Misty. Of course it is a spirit animal and Misty has a spirit connection with you.

Now you have me wondering what your other excellent was.
